The early tanks used a flat style key, not a barrel key. I *think* (?) it's the same key as the fork lock? You could always get a Blast fuel cap - no key at all to worry about. Seriously...who here has ever had someone steal their fuel, or their gas cap? | ||

Seriously...who here has ever had someone steal their fuel, or their gas cap? Never happened to me, but all of my fuel caps cannot be opened - or accessed - without a key. What about someone dumping crap into ones fuel tank, has anyone experienced that? Point - counterpoint, 1313 | ||

I think wrong on a daily basis  I never lock my fuel caps...and have yet to have anyone mess with my fuel, either adding or subtracting. | ||

Ive never lost fuel and never lost a gas cap or had anyone do anything to my gas, however, I did grow up in an age when sugar in a fuel tank was a big trick...(no never done it! and never had it happen to me) not sure that's on the list of ways to get "even" anymore... never lock my gas caps either.... | ||

They are hard enough to get off without locking them..lol | ||

K12, not anymore I fixed that. I probably will just leave it unlocked, I like having spares, "just in case". |
