Went to my local lock smith, and he doesn't have them.
Anyone know where I might find one?
Like to have a spare.

Thanks

The early tanks used a flat style key, not a barrel key. I *think* (?) it's the same key as the fork lock?

You could always get a Blast fuel cap - no key at all to worry about.

Seriously...who here has ever had someone steal their fuel, or their gas cap?

I'm sorry, you thought wrong. Fuel cap key is different than fork lock on S2's.

Never happened to me, but all of my fuel caps cannot be opened - or accessed - without a key. What about someone dumping crap into ones fuel tank, has anyone experienced that?

Point - counterpoint,

I think wrong on a daily basis ; )

I never lock my fuel caps...and have yet to have anyone mess with my fuel, either adding or subtracting.

Ive never lost fuel and never lost a gas cap or had anyone do anything to my gas, however, I did grow up in an age when sugar in a fuel tank was a big trick...(no never done it! and never had it happen to me) not sure that's on the list of ways to get "even" anymore... never lock my gas caps either....

K12, not anymore I fixed that.

I probably will just leave it unlocked, I like having spares, "just in case".
