Anyone familiar with these?
Are they worth the money?
Do they make shifting easier or better in any way?
The stock shift seems very stiff to me, with little feel to it.

I had a Banke and it was great. It is still a little stiff initial movement, but short throw and firm shifts. I don't think I ever missed a shift with the Banke. That said, new bushings in the stock shifter arm and properly tightened pivot arm and linkage should take most all of the side to side slack out of the stock setup. I went back to the stock setup to recoup funds by selling the Banke, but also because the fairing lower contacts the Banke shifter.

About an inch. This can be remedied by trimming the lower around the shifter (you'll see where it hits when you put the Banke on). I trimmed a half-circle in my lower to clear my steering damper as well. Any wind difference is negligible.
