Since I am the one putting it on this year I will state that ALL Buells are welcome not just S2s. If you have not heard NRHS is also becoming an EBR dealer so we will have demo rides available on the new EBR 1190s st this event!! The rally will be July 10.11 and 12 in Berthoud, CO. |

I went to last years s2 rally in the alps on my m2 and my son on a blast. It was a memorable experience. I think it would be wonderful to bring all the buells together once year: tubes, XBs, maybe Erik might show up too. My thought is annual buell rally would invite all the buell machines, all bothers. |

Sorry folks, The location for the event is not up for debate. It is being held In Colorado this year period. if you want it somewhere else then you are going to have to organize your own event. |

I am a little new to the board and have owned buells for about 2 years. I went to the S2 rally last year, as I happened to see to the thread and decided even though I do not own a S2, I would ride my M2 and my son a Blast. We were the only ones not on S2s besides a vrod that showed up. It seems there is history behind the S2 rally event, something I do not know about. In my opinion, the name "S2 Rally" is not inviting to others. The S2s are nice - I have one now. The other buells are also very interesting and I would love to see an event that was open to all. My opinion. |

Before this all gets blown up we all know everyone can attend all the get to gethers etc. Buellers are far better than that. The original poster was I think just starting the process for setting up an upper midwest get gathering called Old School and being from MN i would love one this direction maybe wisconsin side around lake Pepin there is wonderful roads there. And others were just letting everyone know all buellers are welcome at the S2 gathering also. |

Ah that makes more sense now. Heck I might even show up to the midwest event if it happens. But just to be clear all Buells are welcome at the S2 event in Colorado in July. |

I would be up for it too Gordon. I may make the one in Colorado but its quite far and have to see how much time I can get off of work at that time. I would make something closer as well if something came up in the works. Hows the M2 coming along? |

LOL! Finally got everything together and still runs poorly below 3000 or so. Put 20 miles on it with fresh gas, plugs and carb cleaner in the tank. Still won't idle w/o choke. Past that runs good. It's a hoot! Should have pulled the carb and thoroughly cleaned/dipped it instead of the quickie spray and clean. So... will play around and pull the float bowl, slow jet and see if that's the problem. Pulling and reinstalling the cables is a PIA I'll avoid if possible so will try to access it by just pulling a/c and backplate. If no joy, then pull the carb... Laziness by degrees. Given the symptoms, I'm thinking it's gotta be the slow jet totally gummed up. Thought of just slapping on a reworked CV44 I have laying around but think I'll mess with this a bit longer. Tinkering on this thing is kinda fun and relaxing. Liking the NRHS CF ham can/3" filter. So now thinking I'll pop for more CF tidbits... Can't do chrome on a Buell! |

Dan does this mean you will be the first stand alone EBR dealer? |

I believe so, but I could be wrong. We'll be the only one in Colorado. |

I will be either the first or second stand alone EBR dealer. Chris Rivas in CA is also becoming a stand alone dealer but he is having a bugger of a time with the red tape in that state! |

So my thought is attend the CO rally for 2015 - will take me about 3 days to get there. 3 days visiting. 3 days back. 2 days to recover. For 2016 I am thinking Kansas or Nebraska is about the middle of the country ? |

I think the idea is that Colorado is about the center of the US, although the actual center is outside Lebanon, Kansas. http://www.kansastravel.org/geographicalcenter.htm |

If you have ever been to Nebraska or Kansas, you would see flat roads that run straight for miles, don't get me wrong they are beautiful states, in there own way. This statement wasn't made to offend anybody |

So...just to be clear, are we talking about two different events here? I am planning on attending the event in Colorado. As far as being "put off" by the term "S2 Rally" (as mentioned earlier in the thread) I for one am not. I am bringing the S1W and the S2 and hope to see many other Tubers, XB's and maybe even an EBR or two. All Buells are Buells to me, kind of a brotherhood. I dig em all. I would really like to see these events publicized all across this board, not just "Old School". |

People showed up on BMWs and Harleys at the S2 rally I attended. No one was ostracized. Everyone welcome. |

If you plan to attend the Buell rally that features S2s in Colorado in July I can assure you that you will see at least 2 EBRs!! |
