They come off because they are improperly installed or bent(re-used) and should have been replaced ... IMHO, "i" would pull the primary coved and check things out ... The excessive metal on you drain plug magnet comes from adjusting the pri.chain and/or drive belt "TOO TIGHT" and an improperly adjusted clutch does not help either ... You were undeniably in the ball park. I checked for 11031 and it was intact. Thanks again.
