After a small mishap dirtbiking with my 96 S1 (family function and I had to prove I could climb hills like the 4 wheelers ; ) ) I noticed on my next night ride that when I pull the clutch in my high beam goes on. This really had me scratching my head for a while. What do you guys think.

Something amiss with the left handlebar controls?

With clip on bars the clutch perch shifted when I laid her down in the grass so I was hitting the passing light button when pulling it in. I was really perplexed how a cable clutch could affect the lighting system till I got a chance to look closer.

Both those circuits are in the wiring to the left switchback. .. sounds like you've pinched/crimped some wires and the clutch circuit is crossing over with your headlight circuit.

Simple fix, pull it apart and find the pinched wires.

So Tod it sounds like that you found out what went wrong and it was the positioning of the clutch vs. handlebar control.
