ok, so i had some battery electrical issues. after i bought the bike (two years ago) the battery would die after a few days of not riding. bought trickle charger (four months ago) would start up if charged for 48 hours. got tired of that so bought new battery. new battery was smaller but no prob. as i installed the new battery grounded to battery mount. arced and smoked voltage regulator. battery still has charge but upon starting attempt will only try to but not turn over. is it just the regulator or more serious? please help!
