Hello guys
This is kind of weird topic.

I running Motul 20w50 synthetic oil (in primary I have mineral), and this oil smells just like flowers (amazing smell ).
But the thing is, when I ride my bike, here and there I can smell it. Basically, when I stop, there is flower aroma around the bike.

Is it normal? From where it can come?

You are smelling the aroma coming out of the engine venting to atmosphere.

I thought Motul smells like bananas.

IMHO you should run the same oil in your transmission as you run in your engine !!!

Reason: If the motor sprocket oil seal goes bad the transmission oil will get into the engine !!!

So it is normal? Great, now I have smelly bike, bitches will love that I guess

Buellistic: the thing is, I dont want synthetic in my primary because clutch will slide I think. And also, while our bikes operate in high temperatures, I think that synthetic is much better option

I run Harley Davidson Formula+ in my primaries. Amsoil 20W-50 in the engines of all my tubers.

Frankly, about the only thing I don't agree on with Buellistic

I understand the reasoning Buellistic shares, but if that happens it's time to park and dump fluids anyway. I run Amsoil 20-50 in the motor and Drag Specialties Gear and Crankcase Oil (for Sportsters and Buells only) in the primary.

This has worked for my 1997 S3T as "i" am still running the original STATOR/VOLTAGE REGULATOR(adjust the PRI. CHAIN at 3/4 inch on the chain tight spot), have all the original clutch plates except the SPRING PLATE(aka grenade plate) which was replaced with used plates, ran H-D dinosaur oil eng./trans. to 60K(chgn. eng. oil every 3k/trans 5K) then going to H-D SYN3 to date(chgn. eng. oil every 3k/trans 5K), and as of the last ride it has 111,819.6 miles on it ...

Of course a correctly adjusted clutch helps the clutch last longer and a correctly adjusted pri. chain./drive belt helps the trans. to shift at its best ...
