2000 Buel x1 lightning. I am not a mechanic I inherited this beautiful machine and had it built from the parts pile of its deceased owne by a friend who is a mechanic. We weren't sure about using ECM spy. So I then sent the just completed rebuilt motor with all new internals for 1250 kit race ECM exhaust that had only been run for 6 minutes to seat the valves to be tuned for break in.

Shop said no spark found a bare wire to cps so should I replace cps under assumption it's fried ? Or
Can I test the cps ? Or
Did it likely do any damage down stream ?
