When I have my high beam light on my dash shows its the low beam and when I switch it to low beam the high beam indicator light comes on and then the low beam light doesn't work if I turn my bars to the left. Probably a pinched wire somewhere right?

I haven't seen a low beam indicator. But yes you are on the right track.

You'll want to remove your tank cover and turn your tank to the side to get at the wire harness. Cut the tie-wraps as needed so you can gain access to each discrete wire in the harness.

All wires that go to the headlight need to be individually checked with your index finger and thumb for wire strand breaks within each wire inside the insulation. At least that is what I found on my 2000 X1 Lightning.

Sounds to me like you've a poor ground and it's tracking its way through other functions.

First thing I'd do is run a temporary wire from the headlamp ground to the chassis, then check the lights for correct functioning.

I would first pull the headlight and check for a loose bulb connector. The wire loom can pull the connector loose from the bulb as well as the ground. Loose connectors can cause all sorts of weird stuff. Needless to say it did happen to me. Good luck and let us know what you come up with.
