Hey Steve,
kind of sounds like my issue, a little......
Ted, we have not met but Steve helps me along with my X1 also. I've had an issue for a few years now with mine and it sounds like it may be similar to yours. I would be curious if it runs the same....I have also done many replacement items to attempt to rectify, but to no avail...... My next step is to replace the CPS.....Mr D_Adams says he thinks it's the issue, but Screamer says highly unlikely....I just want to get it fixed. I do ride it anyways, but not as fun as it used to be. We need to meet by Steve's and drink his beer......I mean compare issues, see what similarities and differences we have. It may help, It may not.......jim |

In the last few days I checked the plugs now that I have some miles on them the rear plug looked good, nice tan color around the electrode. The front plug was wet the color looked a little washed out. This lead me to question the injectors, I pulled them out of the intake stem safely off the to the side and powered up the fuel pump, no leaking, so I hit the starter both injectors had a nice spray pattern. |

I also used ECMspy to check spark both front and rear had nice blue spark.
I am running out of things to check... |

Jim, if I make it back up there next year and you still haven't gotten it fixed, have one of the CPS's on hand, I'll change it out for you. It's not all that hard. |

Well so far so go, I switched injectors from front to rear, and no more missing! At this point I am not going to question it just enjoy it. |
