Which shock would lower an xb and how much shorter is it and how much lower will it sit?

S1owner... you need the XB Scg shock with the yellow spring...like this: http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/21/ 508517.html

It's not just the spring length that's different... if I remember correctly the eye-to-eye length of the Scg shock is almost an inch shorter than the stock XB shock and lowered the bike by about the same amount.

BTW, the part number for the Scg rear shock is: K0410.1AE

If that is still too tall, you can purchase a lowering collar for it as well that lowers the rear another 1 inch. Just do a Google search and it will pop up. They run about $190.00. There was a listing on eBay for an xb penske shock that was going for $500, dont know if it sold or not, but that was height adjustable as well.
