My recently acquired s2 needs the fairing brace recall so the fairing won't vibrate so bad. I either need the U bolt piece or a way to create that part. I have the actual brace that attaches to the fairing mount under the dash, but need the end that connects to the frame.

There may be a way to produce a substitute out of something that can be repurposed. Any ideas or has anyone actually been able to create one?

Help would be appreciated.

There is a bracket in the classifieds for $10 from Onahog.

Sporty,

Guess I shoulda searched there before buying one. Got a new, complete kit for $29, which should be here today.

Thanks for the tip, though.

Much more stable after installing the brace. No more rattling like its gonna fall off at say 1500 rpm. Glad I got one on it.
