20 years ago (actually on June 22) 1994, I bought my first S2.

My S2 happy thoughts are pretty simple..I tracked down a full set of S2 fairing bags, its taken me quite some time and had to go to two different locations to get a full set, and they arrived today! there was one at finditparts.com that they tracked down and the other was sitting on a shelf since 2000 at a HD shop in CO. Small victory but man its cool to have the small details! I suppose this is where the true experts chime and let me know that there are boxes of them in some shop that I couldn't seem to find.... which of course would be great news and happy thoughts for everyone else!!
on the bigger side of happy thoughts, about 6 weeks ago I had to have a rather invasive eye surgery (pieces of plastic inserted into my cornea to stabilize it) so its been really difficult to be active here and help where I can or even read and keep learning and even harder to ride!! vision is finally stabilizing enough that I feel comfortable going for very short rides on very familiar roads, still haven't trusted myself on the S2 though or some of the other low numbers bikes I have but I return next week for the follow up and fitted for contacts over the plastic inserts so back to riding very soon! now that's happy thoughts indeed!

Beautiful bike!!! That Caribbean candy is my favorite color for an S2... And of course the red and black sapphire VERY closely follow! |

I took Stella out for a 3 hr whooping yesterday for the first time in almost a year, all I can say is HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY!!!

Well my S2 was paid for today. Thanks for helping me out Jolly for making the transaction. Shipper picking up tonight. Should have it in my garage on Friday. Awesome. |
