Just installed the new petcock I ordered from American Sport Bike and there is no flow out of it no matter what position I put it in. I have a clear in-line filter, so I know there isn't any fuel coming from the tank. I have put a goodly amount of gas in the tank.

Was there something I was supposed to remove from the petcock before installation?
