Guys,
I can use some advice on this.. I resurrected the S1W after winter rest. Bike runs great but the turn signals are behaving silly. I have hazard function regardless if I activate left or right.. ie it lights up left and right at the same time. Blinking frequency is fine and relay sounds ok but I haven't got around to measure anything yet. Is it anything typical or do I need to get my hands dirty...

NB the turn signals worked just fine last season and the bike is kept in a heated garage.

Thanks/ Jonas

By it lights up do you mean the dash indicators or the turn signals? If it is the dash. Do the signals worrk?

Yep, dash indicates "hazard" as well as the turn signals..

The only thing I could think of is the relay. It's a cheap easy thing to try first. Besides that I don't have a clue.

yep ,try the relay what Blu1hockey said and check the contact and massa points on the connectors for corrosion and spray them with some contact cleaner.

My signals will lock on (right or left) when ridden in the rain, switch gear is not water proof and corrosion may occur inside it on the contacts.

While your bike is kept inside it's still old enough to be experiencing some problems due to general aging.

I'd suggest opening up the switch gear and looking for corrosion on not only the contacts but small springs in there an see if anything needs cleaning up. It's easy to get in there since there's only a couple screws holding the pod together. If not that I also wonder on the condition of your relay as others have already mentioned.

I have a spare switch that is fully functional, if you want to borrow it to plug into your harness to test that part of the system let me know and I'll mail it out to you to borrow for a test.

No worries Jolly!
We have spring coming and I've been under heavy workload from the Mrs "you need to do this in the garden"... See if I can get something done later tonight... or tomorrow : )

Turned out that I had a partial short in one of the turn signals causing the relay to go nuts.. Sorted now!

Thanks for the input!!
