My d&d slip on looked like it needed a new coat of paint. I did a light sand, cleaned and sprayed on some high temp header paint with a silica ceramic coating. Most of the paint took just fine but there are areas that bubbled and can literally rub paint off with finger. Any good advice on how to get a better finish that will be durable? different paint? maybe better prep? |

Strange, i posted similar question in this section yesterday and didn't see it in the forum here so i posted again. after perusing through classifieds for sale i see it somehow made its way over there, most likely user error on my part. Sounds like grill paint may be the way to go in order to keep costs down. |
