After a top-end refresh I have a leak from my front push-rod tube base gasket. I have the NRHS one-piece billet base gasket plate. I took things apart again, removed push rods and re-installed the tubes/plate/gaskets. I still have the same leak!

I will try to add a couple of lbs. of torque to the base plate bolts when I get home and see if that helps or stops it.

However, i'm leaving to go to MotoGP in Austin Friday and I really don't have time to do this again. Anybody ever do a temp fix on these using any kind of gasket sealer?

There are three ways to do this...

1) stock bases, stock tubes
2) billet bases, stock tubes (NRHS)
3) zippers performance billet bases and collapsible push rod tube assemblies sold by NRHS with stock push rods.... Very easy to install!!!

I have a write up on the forum with photos

Number 3 is fool proof! I have done it to three motors now without issue!!! Even the billet bases with stock tubes are tricky at best....it's now a DEFINITE for me any time I work on a buell motor.
