We have collected a lot of tools in the years we work on Buell's. We have added the most not all in our shop. Some are easy to use others are more difficult. We think it can help you when you wrench on your Buell to understand they are there. Here is the link if you need any help please e-mail us: info@twinmotorcycles.nl

Here is the link to find them in our webshop: http://www.twinmotorcycles.nl/webshop/index.asp?gu id=YXHFSC&cid=437

Cool line up. I am surprised (or maybe I missed it) that you didn't have a stubby 1/4 allen wrench for intake manifold removal, maybe a kit like this:

As I don't have a Mac dealer anywhere near, I've not seen one of these, but I could do with one sometime soon.

I am lead to believe there's another make of this tool, possibly of German origin, and cheaper than the Mac offering.

I have one of those tools and they are not that easy to use, i.e. they can slip in use. You can buy the Kastar version:

Buellistic has some guidance, see post here:

And there is the 'Scott Free' method, see here:

Apologies for digression...

2005 and I'm all over that thread and clearly forgotten about it.

Will check my old mails from Lafayette too.

Great info thank you.

Yeah but stubbier...

This kind of thing:

http://www.crawfordtool.com/Bondhus_16537.html

Like what you use to change the intake seals...

Or the Yost tool (which I quite like), see here:

http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/327 77/207693.html?1162208852

Great idea to put tools on the TM site though...

Those stubbies are great, no more cutting down my regular Allen wrenches! I got a set of Inch, and set of Metric. Use them all the time.
