THANK YOU for running this to ground, with the other parts I am working on I simply did not have enough time to work this one as well but its another sorely needed part that no one was going to make. glad I could help by sending you my brace. Ill be honest, I was a little leery about taking this part off and sending it to you, but my trust paid off and you proved to be a good dude! thanks for taking some of my design requests into account, I think this piece turned out to be outstanding! well done and KUDOS for resurrecting a lost part. Thanks Dave. No problem at all. Iam sure we can do some more fun things down the road as well. I will be touching base with my machinist later this afternoon. Will be giving him the totals etc. I will post when he will start the run. There is still time to get your order in if you have not done so. Update: Waiting for money to clear into my bank account. did not want to paypal to the machinist due to the amount and great deal he is already making them for. Didnt want paypal to take any of his money. When money clears I will hand him cash. He received the metal today to make the braces. Iam sure he will be working on them next week. I have everything else ready to package up and ship when done. Will keep everyone in the loop as to timing. | ||

Just talked to my machinist and the braces are done. He just needs to polish the ones that want them that way. Should be able to get them shipped to everyone right after Christmas. Awesome. | ||

Your all set Roderick. Beulljunkie yes yours will be polished. That is the best looking way anyway. Machinist was paid today. He will have them done right after Christmas. a few details...the hardware is stainless. Has stainless nylon locknuts. I did not get washers to try and keep the cost down. Don't need them really. also the front brackets are bare metal. If you want to spray paint or coat in some way then go for it. Again just trying to keep cost down. Everything turned out great. | ||
