I have a 2000 M2 and noticed when I put in the baker shift drummer and detent plate that the detent plate was a little cocked and tended to slant where the little adjust hole meets one of the pins. I since pulled it out and went back to the stock drum and detent plate.
I was thinking of putting a small nut/washer on the underside of the detent plate and then tightening it down in hopes of keeping straight. Any suggestions ?

a can of worms.
the detent plate clip is shit.
the clip brakes, the pins work their way out. you can tap them back in, replace the clip but.
ditch the clip and follow the jramsey bodge up.

Alfau, you happen to know what the title to that thread is? I've looked and looked. My eyes are ready to drop.

Ah HA! I never would have thought to drill and tap. I'm going to have to do this with the S2.

Thank you for the thread link!
