when I do the shift paw adjust how do I know I have it in third for sure ?

On stands with rear tire off the ground. Push shifter arm on shift shaft temporarily to aid in shifting. Put in Neutral, you should be able to tell what that is. Turn tire shift to first, turn tire shift to second, turn tire shift to third. Buellistic says it's better to use a 0.125 drill bit. The manual says 0.116.
