Ok so need some info to make the right upgrade decision
Which forks are the better ones?
How do you tell if they are the shorter forks?
Have heard that you can use stock S1 triples?
Can you use an 1125 tree and forks with XB wheel and brake?
Any info would be great?

What i know of is that all xb and 1125 wheels have the same dimensions (only ulysses have thicker spokes)
So xb wheels and brakes does fit in 1125 forks.
The early xb forklegs fit in s1/x1 triples (only issue is you need an extension for fitting the handlebars in the upper clamp because the top of the forklegs are higher)

The xb R/S 02/05 forklegs are the same or almost the same length as the s1/x1 and maybe all the tuber forklegs!?

And which are the better ones?

Use '03-'04 XB forks if you want to re-use the stock triples. All other XB forks are tapered and won't fit. Be aware that the adjustments at the top of the forks may get in the way, depending on your bars.
