Man... Through a series of events, the oil pump went out, and took out a bunch or different random things. I'm waiting on my new turbo to arrive.

Just thinking I need to slim down my bike inventory. Took the buell out for a ride the other day for the first time in a while (a real ride, not just a dink around town ride) and was just really dissapointed in how clunky and junky the thing rode. Meh.

I'll be sad if I never get to throw my single sided swing arm on it though...

Fox ,you probably ride to much jap bikes
thats why the buell feels clunky
You better throw that swingarm on and ride the piss out of it!

Bummer about your cummins ,what was the cause that the oilpump went out?

sorry your parting ways, your bike looks different.
i love my Buell & how its runing, i love it's got a carb & love it uses gravity feed with petcock. gives me more to do when i start it & when it goes to run out of Gas i just turn petcock to reserve. thats something new Buell's don't have.
good luck

Maybe you need to set your suspension and stuff so it suits your weight and style of riding. Tyre pressure might need adjusting also. These are the things that make the difference between a 'comforatble' Buell and one that feels like a bone shaker. I suspect in your case it's more so the case given the way yours is modified.

As it looks it's right up my street and I'd not part with it, but hone it until it's great to ride.

Nice looking Buell.

Now about that El Camino. Pics please?

Haha. Of coarse I've been riding too many Jap bikes. Its all I ever end up working on these days. I know it needs a new front tire, and that is seriously hindering what its got. Probably need to revalve the '04 xb forks, as they feel very mushy. And the rear shock is AWFUL. But no way I'm spening $1000 on an aftermarket one. When its time comes i'll just revalve a stock one.

Right now I'm working on a bike to murder all bikes. Its gonna be wild. I'm welding up a gas tank right now.

When push comes to shove, I probably wont have the balls to list it unless somebody offers me over 5 grand for it.

No, its not the RAM swing arm, its a swing arm I built from a Ducati 996. I just never ended up buying a wheel. $500 and up.

Long story short.... a rogue washer, got stuck in the cam gear, Chipped a tooth off, that tooth then got jammed in the oil pump.
Got it all patched back together and waiting on my turbo which should be here any day now.

I am interested in the belt tensioner.

Was it difficult to install?

Does it work well?

It was not difficult for me to install. However I welded up the fork frame myself, and then drilled and tapped it into the swing arm block.

It works like a champ. Allows the belt to stay in perfect tension always, as It is the same radius as the swing arm pivot point.

Need to find a paint that wont bubble for the tank, and this thing is getting Listed.

Fair Enough Gus. Its eclectic to say the least. Then again, I hate bikes with gas mask headlights... but wiggers love those for some reason... I dunno.

Really need to paint the tank so it will sell well....

I think that might be for sale to soon. I'm almost scared to drive it.. =\

Like I said earlier. I'm building a monster track bike right now. Building the tank at the moment. But its super light... I mean Scary light

And SCARRY powerful.

All titanium , carbon fiber and magnesium I assume. Thats going to be crazy.
In my sons bmx racing days his bike weighed under 7 pounds it was crazy light and most of the weight was saved in rotating mass which I assume you are doing also

All aluminum. Magnesium Engine cases.

My wheels are about 7 lbs each I've been told, with rotors. But they are not here yet, so I cannot confirm.

I'm about 60% done making the gas tank at the moment. Hand forming it all.

Got her all cleaned up today. I'll be sad, but Too many issues to deal with. I'll miss the 2,000 rpm wheelies, the front wheel, and those headlights more than anything.
