S3 ignition switch. I turned the key on and nothing happens. I turn the key off and on a couple of times and finally get juice. Could it be just a worn out ignition switch? Thanks in advance for any help.

Sounds like the ignition switch is fried. There are several posts addressing this issue so run a search to see what pops up. I went the dealer route and got a HD Dyna switch with the same key code as my Buell key. My dealer did offer a replacement Buell set up but the cost was more. The HD Dyna part needed the harness modified to fit the Buell connector but if you are handy with a solder gun it was an easy project. My new switch works great, I can still use my Buell key, and all the issues I was having have been solved.
Good Luck! HARFEND

I carefully took mine apart and cleaned the contacts.

Put it back together and added a relay to take the high current out of the ignition switch.

That was over 5 years ago and no problems since...

"take the high current out of the ignition switch. "

I've done the same. Starter solenoid current goes through switch. Needs to go though something that can take the current, and be easily and cheaply replaced if it burns out.
