I've somehow managed to become a con-o-sewer of front isolators.
Drag Specialties Taiwan FXR - don't bother, way too buzzy for the Buells
HarLee 7/16" (?) bolt size from a few years back - kinda buzzy, even when the metal is opened up for the 1/2 Buell bolt
Current production American/Canadian manufactured, Buell part no. L.1501.8 is the best of the bunch.
It takes a 5/8" socket on the bolt head, 11/16" wrench on the nut and torqued to 70 ft/lbs. it works well.
I was worried about the smaller diameter bolt but it's not too buzzy at all.
I got mine from American Sport Bike and it was perfect timing as I took a half day from work.
All was good until a stink bug smashed itself right in the middle of my face shield...

Oh, those pesky stink bugs.

Also, as far as front Iso's go, the velva-ride units for H-D FXR's and Dressers is NOT a good choice for tube-frame Buells. Maybe fine for the big twins, I don't know for sure.

The one my friend put on my RS/S2 thing when he built it wore out laterally, allowing everything to shift forward and a bit to the right. I posted picks on a thread several years back. Not pretty at all.
