I've searched for hours with no luck. I downloaded the "trial" version and the drivers for the cable but can't get ecmspy to work,
I keep getting a ."timed out" message when I try to fetch data and it ask if the bike is turned on..
I've tried rebooting the computer and switching the bike on/off again with no luck.
Suggestion anyone?

I'm having the same issue with XP..

It worked OK on my other laptop that's running Win7 but I think it may have some issues too as some of the info I'm getting doesn't seem to agree with the rest of my observations.

You also need to install the drivers for the cable..

not sure.. I'll be trying it on a few other computers in the next few days as I'm not getting a reading from the TPS and I can't find anything wrong with the sensors..

Finally got it to recognize the ECM when I clicked on stock instead of factory race even though the race ECM is what I have.
Will that make a difference when I purchase? It identified the ECM as a BUEJA, which is at least correct for the year.

Thanks for the offer Alf..

Might take you up on that later, just to look at the ECM off another system and see what it shows as I think part of what I've been chasing may have been the way ECM spy has been reading it.

Need to get it sorted enough to get it down to the dpt of transport first tho.
