I just bought an S2 and finally got to see it on my cross country trip. stopped in to see my buddy that picked it up for me and lay eyes on it for the first time! this is going to be fun!...anyway...the body isn't too terribly rough but I think the best way to go about it is piece together a complete second set instead of tearing into any work and trying to match paint on the pearl white (95). I am looking for the Caribbean blue...anyone have a set or pieces for sale?.. Id like to buy out right instead of trade the factory pearl white. thanks! | ||

thanks, I am looking for a set of Caribbean Blue ready to go..... I agree the last set is a bit over the top flash for a bike that has such sexy lines that they get lost in the paint...however..that last set does kind of grow on me.....just a bit....still though, that Caribbean blue or snap red just looks perfect on the S2! | ||

the purple is actually parkway blue....it was a mix up with paint samples and color names...I read about that mix up in the book "25 years of Buell"..the Caribbean candy blue is the lighter BLUE shade. as I am learning about the S2 bikes now....what do you want for the fender and tail?...maybe I can piece this together out of the parkway set...but sure prefer the Caribbean candy blue.... | ||

MY APOLOGIES!! I lost track of this thread, randomly came across it and found that someone was waiting on a fender decision! I have not yet really sorted my project out so if Phat_J still needs the fender I guess I need to say let him take it, not fair to hold the part "hostage " while I slowly sort out my own project needs. again, Sorry for the long delay - I simply lost the bubble on this one! I am sure In the end I will wish I had it but I just don't know what I need for this project at this time... | ||
