I have to admit it sounds great, not too loud or raspy, but a low pronounced rumble. Any guesses? D&D perhaps? And I agree. Nice sound when getting on it, but nice and mellow just cruising around. I was planning on going back to stock for the restoration, but now I think I am gonna hang on to it, have it coated and put it back on after the restore. I like it. I was thinking about modifying an OEM S1 muffler (I have in my shop) with a straight inlet, but I'm not sure if that would work or not and I haven't had a chance to take any measurements yet. It sure looks like a D&D. the riveted badge at the rear and the rear brackets look VERY familiar.
