The tail light looks nice, the fairing is interesting but not my taste,

Whos tail light is that?

If you remove the undamaged headlight rear shell, would you want to sell it?

Sure ill sell it to you if your interested after I am sure that the new one is on with no problems I wouldn't have a problem with that at all. Also the new headlight hasn't been ordered yet I'm still on the fence about it but I need brighter lights and I figured with that one I could wire the left and right set or LEDs to go with my turn signals I am also putting a HID kit on it aswell.(trying to make myself as visible as possible drivers around here don't really pay attention)
Honestly I'm not sure my brother found it when browsing eBay and it looked great not that expensive so I'm sorta taking a gamble on it if you want the link for the eBay ill send it to you it says he has like 10 available. Or I will let you know how the fit goes and you can go from there.

I would stay away from wrapping the pipe! It will make the metal brittle and it will fall apart eventually. I had mine wrapped for a yr because it was all trashed when I went to replace it the wrap made the pipe so brittle it cracked into 4 pieces. Just my 2 cents!

Ive had a race pipe wrapped on my s1 for quit a few years and almost 30,000 miles without a problem, that is the stainless race pipe though

Mine was stainless also. Although The wrap cools the heat you feel it traps the heat in the metal and causes stress at thin areas like bends. If you have that many years on it I am impressed.

I've never heard of that happening but thanks for the advice I will definitely look into it more.. I've got a question did you do each pipe individually or did you wrap them together?

Nice any suggestions for a first timer? I was gonna keep each wrap cover about half of the previous one. Sound about right? I figure it can't be hard

my stock 1999 steel pipe did not hold up well under the wrapping. Maybe it held a little moisture?? It looked great, but broke twice in 6 months. A BWB sold me a stainless pipe and I've not had any trouble since.

I am very curious to see how that light looks on the x1. Those are very cheap tho and i am not sure how much light output your going to get from it.
