Have had my S1 for a little more than a year. I did not realize it while buying, but turns out it is the twin tail version with the longer seat. I like the longer twin tail look, but just can't stay in the saddle for long. Too many burgers and beers. Does anyone know if the standard S1 seat is more comfortable than the twin? Am guessing that the Corbin version standard length seat would be more comfortable, but for the standard seat or Corbin I would have to convert back to a standard fairing and whatever else parts? Thanks for any input. (Message edited by Robertb1958 on July 15, 2013) |

Talk to Corbin about a Canyon Dual Sport with a "nut job" which will allow you to retain the twin tail and will get rid of the point in the front. |

Not really. It is a little flatter and wider, but just a little. I think their may be a Corbin version of the single, but you will need the single seat tail. I have also heard of people fitting 99+ M2 seats and tails, but can't say I have ever seen one... |

I called Corbin a couple of weeks ago after seeing a Corbin twin tail seat on ebay (in France for pretty strong $'s). Then I found an old Corbin website link. The guy at Corbin was supposed to confirm (never did), but he said that if it was not currently listed, it is not available (period!) The seat looked a lot like the Canyon Dual Sport referred to above. Love my S1, but only for about 45 min. |
