There is no reason you can not as they are not stress bolts as on some vehicle engines ...

The secret is applying the correct amount of anti-size compound on the correct places on the INTERNAL THREAD SCREWS(stud caps) ...

"AND" torque'ing them correctly !!!

No problem whatsoever...

My race sporty had the heads of maybe dozens of times with no issue with the bolts/nuts.

Studs on the other hand can be replaced while it's apart if you're going larger bore and higher compression.
