Any body got a link to brass bushing that replace the plastic bushing on late model tuber linkage? I know Amer. Sport Bike carried but discounted. Out source with id and specs??

You will always have looseness with a bronze bushing. The shifter uses a short bushing, to allow free movement a couple of thousanst is required. I bored out mine to accept a standard bushing. No problems now.

These are standard commercial brass bushings, so try ACE HARDWARE ...

You can have a MACHINEST make them to closer tolerances ...

Bluz than you , but a can't see paying $35 for to 2 small bushings? Think I will try McMaster Carr.

I don't remember the numbers, but my local ACE True Value hardware (Frattellos in Coon Rapids) had some. They weren't sintered, so they wouldn't hold oil, but they did fit nicely. I lost them in the move to Stowe, Vermont (but kept my sanity : ). So, for much less, you may want to bring in your pieces to the local hardware store and test them until you find a fit on a rainy weekend afternoon. Also, being bronze, they machine very easily.
