I have a set of High Voltage Yellow never-installed body pieces for an S1. There is no tank with the set, so I'm wanting to paint one of the narrow-style tuber tanks I have in my garage. I have all of the info that I could find browsing old posts and the KV.

This is what I have:
PPG primer we use
Primer is K36 PPG

Hardener is K201 PPG

Reducer can be any of the following
-DT-895
- DT-885

PPG base coat types we use
- The Base coat is Deltron 2000 which is DBC

PPG clear coat we use
- DCU2042 PPG is speed clear

Hardener is DCX9 PPG

Reducer can be any of the following
- DT-895
- DT-885

As well as this:
-3 coats of Sikkens 297 yellow base
-3 coats of House of Kolor 501 Neon
-3 coats of Sikkens Autoclear

The owner of the paint supply shop originally declined my offer to supply this info saying it was no problem to match, he could just scan the headlight fairing I brought him(ok, I was skeptical). After mixing the paint and spraying the tank, It looked more like Arizonabuell's frame. So of course now he's asking for the paint code info. He wanted to know if there is any cross-reference #'s to PPG paint since this is what he mixes. He also said that to his knowledge Sikkens 297 is a white base, not yellow.

So to recap. my questions are...
1) Are there cross-ref #'s to PPG?
2)Is Sikkens 297 base yellow or white?
3)Up above, where I copied "PPG base coat types we use
- The Base coat is Deltron 2000 which is DBC" from Al's old post...is there a code # for this? (such as DT-895, etc)

I know this has been discussed to no end, but I've researched as much as I can stand before making this post! I also remember reading a post about a forum member who actually knew one of the original painter elves...If he's in Wisconsin I think I'd rather just send it to him if he's still painting. The guy I'm dealing with doesn't really seem like he's got his heart in it.
