Great sound but not way too much of it and it doesn't weigh hardly anything. It's louder than the stainless Wileyco on my S1 but not tremendously so. Lifetime warranty, too. Correction: easy enough to do by eyeball and yes, it necks down. I'm sure it loses some power but it will do until I put on a race exhaust like my old X1W had.
