American Sport Bike sells a repack kit. You drill the rivets that hold an endcap on, pack around the outside of the perforated core, and re-rivet the endcap in place.

The factory kit is fiberglass. I pack mine with steel wool - the sound is a little throatier and it seems to last longer for me.

try my way; http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/476 23/444831.html

found this method online, used with some shotgun exhaust, a few others have tried it with a race can, and seems to work fine.

Cheers guys sounds easy enough. My bike just threw the drive belt off today on the way to work so I'm not going to far until I can find the funds for a new one.

sorry to hear your sidelined. Well now you have plunty of time to pack your muffler.
I have used steele wool and it works well. Needs to be redone every year tho.
Sleez method looks to be pretty slick. I will most likely be doing that next time.
