What line do you use between the reservoir and the master cylinder? I have seen clear line but can not find it at the local auto parts store?

My bikes have all had black rubber line.

I'd shy away from clear line because there's more chance it's not rated for oils...

I have a clear on the rear brake reservoir, couldn't find anything else to work on account of master inlet and the reservoir outlet being different sized. Looks like some sport bikes now even lose the entire reservoir and just have a length of hose going up from the master. The capacity of the hose is enough.

As I recall, I got an in-between size, it might have been 8mm. I put a tiny O-ring on the reservoir nipple, and clamped the tube over it. The big end stretched just enough. Seems to work.

Try snowmobile fuel line. If it's too small just stick the end in hot water.

I switched out the reservoir to the earlier, smaller one. The downspout nipple is in the middle, not the back, and its the next size smaller. Had a hard time getting it to seal on both ends and not sweat.
