New to the site,am sure this is discussed somewhere, but havn't found it. At 7200miles, will replace OE tires; am curious about brake pads. Go w/factory replacements? Aftermarket better? If so, which ones? Any info appreciated.

AK Buell there is a discussion about tube frame brake pads in the quick board right now that will address your question.

Well, I don't know I'd go that far...more like I know how to find out. As Aaron I think once pointed out, you begin to think you know a lot about this stuff, but then you meet folks that make you realize how little you know.

In the area of brakes, I'm able to seek the wisdom of the likes of Jeff Gehr at Braketech, and Paul*2 at Lyndall. They know more about this stuff than I ever will. And they're nice people, too!
