I wonder what it would take to do a candy paint job with those reflective beads in it instead of just mica flakes. Imagine a candy molten orange that exploded when light hit it.

What is the reflective material?

If it's what I think it is, the reflective is simple 3M reflective tape, they make all colors. This looks to be the "black" color, that reflects silver.

I pinstripe all my bikes with reflective tape, as well as my helmet.

...and of course, the Defender is reflective : )








I have pinstripes on the others, just no photos. I think they work great. You can get the stuff off fleabay for cheap - any color, any width, looks good day or night IMHO.

Similair Rat. It is a vynil that the make signs from its a little thicker I have a 36" tall roll of black and one of red. But same idea. Like you I just wanted to be seen a little more but without it being high vis green or something like that

Terry that is cool!! I watched some similiar coatings that change colors when a charge is put to them but not light up!! The stuff I saw they were using for nder cover police squads they flip the lights on and the car goes from marion or what ever to a black and white with all the logos pretty cool stuff
