Help! I just switched out my broken V&H system with a D&D, and the engine light has started coming on. Will this correct itself after a few starts/ stops?

No, I didn't touch anything else, except switched slip- ons. Thre old V&H system had broken baffles and holes in the carbon fiber and it ran fine; why would the D&D make such a big difference?

Flow, the D&D is free flow, I bet that your issue is either directly caused by the work or coincedental

Do you know how to get the codes?

In messing with the Can you jiggled the header if you had a marginal ground that could be it.

Each sensor can code open or short
intake air temp
cyl head temp
Throt, pos
engine pos
Bank Angle Sensor

The coils injectors and fuel pump can code

I have a 96 S1. I also have an 09 1125CR, when I switched out to one of the preferred brands and the ECM threw codes it was running too lean. Everyone said get the race module. When I put in the EBR ECM the check engine light went away and it ran a lot better. If not an EBR, perhaps a screaming eagle race module?

Thanks- I bet I jiggled the header when installing it, but it's running pretty good now, with no engine light ; I'll check the ground.
