You know those wire supports that are (supposed to be) part of the mounting arrangement for S2 fairing bags? Anybody know where the hell they're supposed to go? They obviously come off a bolt nearby and (I guess) provide the bags a bit of support from underneath, but not sure which bolt they go on. Maybe the pinch bolt where the front fairing bracket meets the frame? Anybody? |

IIRC there's only one, to keep the bag out of the horn. Canvas sitting on the horn diaphragm would keep the horn from vibrating, giving you more of a wheeze than a honk. I'll poke around my bike, see what I can find/describe for ya. |

Once I get a chance to check it out, sure. First task tomorrow, meet contractor to deal with dead well pump. Tenant (with 6 month old baby) has no water. Must prioritize |

Here's the wire support/stay. Book says two are required, so, one per side. No friggin idea where they are applied.
