I know the NHRS would be the the best, but my friend is on a shoe string budget (whatever that means).

Top or bottom pic? Will be going on an X1 with a force intake. No stock plastic air filter stuff. Pulled these pics off ebay.

Well not sure of all years but my 99X1 uses the top mount so the tie bar will attach to the frame.

The X1 requires the 3 hole arrangement like the top one.
