Author Message   Classicbuells Posted on Wednesday, April 17, 2013 - 06:03 am:        Hello all. I have pulled the timing chest cover off my RS1200 to change the oil pump drive gear. Unfortunately for me, both of the rear cylinder camshafts fell out of the engine when I pulled the cover. I cannot see any timing marks on the camshafts so I cannot retime the cams correctly, Any ideas how I can get this motor timed again? It's got me puzzled anyhow.   Kc_zombie Posted on Wednesday, April 17, 2013 - 11:18 am:        There must be timing marks. The pinion gear will have a dot while the cam gears will have lines. Look again, I am sure the marks didn't wear off... PM Me, I have a 1986-2003 sportster manual which should help.
