Just started my S3 and immediately noticed a trickle of liquid dripping on the ground. Moved to the left side of the bike and discovered that gas was coming from the fuel pump area. I shut the bike off and upon inspection didn't see anything out of order. I started the bike again and no leak.

Is there a safety valve that will throw off fuel on the electric fuel pump? It is important to note that I just got the bike back from having new push rod seals installed, which required tank removal. I have ridden roughly 50 miles since and didn't notice a leak.

Please advise.

It's a simple Schraeder valve. Get one from a car parts store. It's the same valve that goes in your tires to hold the air in. You'll need the tool to install it; I like the ones that are also valve caps.

About your O2 trouble codes, I had similar issues which turned out to be the cam position sensor. It takes a scope to check without buying a new one, but if you remove the timing cover you can smell burnt electronics if it is fried. Drill the rivets and replace the cover with a screw-on one for a sportster.
