Got the injectors back from Cali, got em in. I have a feeling it was a wasted cost and effort- the pre and post numbers were only slightly different. One good and one fair, now both excellent. Can't hurt I guess..

You think with a service manual, and an internet, this would NOT be a question I'd need to post, but here goes..

It's not obvious how to route the fuel line to the rail from the filter. The rail nipple is angled up which implies its routed on top, but then extra length of the line implies it goes up against the rear of the front cylinder from below. There seems to be a lot of extra fuel line. I would think Eric would want to keep the fuel line AWAY from the hot head though.

I thought no problem - and just spent like the last 1/2 hour googling buell fuel line routing, replacement, engine top, injectors, etc etc.. Couldn't find a single shot of the EFI engine from above with the tank off. Amazing.

This is one of those times I wish I'd taken photos BEFORE I REMOVED IT.

tANKS.. I dont wanna take the tank off to re-route it so Ill wait for advice ..

taking the tank off takes 5 minutes , you dont even need to remove the tank just pick up a bit and turn sideways.

Dude the tank IS OFF. So is the fuel line. I'm asking how to route the fuel line BEFORE I put the tank back on. The tank isn't the question but thanks for the effort!

Sweet thanks.. There is a metal *box*, on top of which is the engine mount. The fuel line *could* go thru it, above it, in front of it, or below it.. I can't really tell which..

I ran mine through the motor mount box as well as my wires for injectors and sensor ,
For what it's worth.

it does seem like a good place, except the line seems to kink where it goes on the rail since it angles up

Looks like the fuel line routes above the stamped steel heim joint mount and between the cylinder heads.
