Ok. I jumped over to the other side with an XB. I picked a 2004 XB last summer. It was Lime Green. Had it shipped up from Tn. Totally tore it down for powder coating and many mods.
A special THANK YOU to Al and Joanne at American Sport Bike, Pingel Enterprise (Nitrous), Trojan Horse in the UK, Saint Paul HD, EBR and many others who helped me with parts for this bike, which was totaled when I purchased it.
Money has been raised at bike shows benefiting the D.A.V. (Disabled American Vets)
The bike fly's the emblems of the US Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, and the National Guard.

"For those who served...
We are eternally grateful for your service & sacrifice"

More pics and info will be added when I get the time. This will be a daily rider (without the machine gun)

Nice custom!

I don't know which would be worse, firing and riding or texting and riding

Can you find any room for an American flag?

Steve,

You didn't mention the amount of money that was raised for the DAV, but it is significant. The custom work that you put into it and the underlying reason for doing it are both very cool... Thank you for sharing a great project!!

Joanne

I'm not a member of the D.A.V., nor do I represent them. I let them use the bike to attract show-goers to their table. I handled no money, so I don't know the exact amount taken in by them.

No matter - it was a very cool way of attracting interest to the D.A.V. booth... I just love it when a unique (and no doubt fun!) project like yours achieves more than its original purpose.
