after a short 1300 mile round trip, i'm back to old school....thanks bartimus...new to me s2 so of course the weather is going to prohibit me from riding for the next week...but just a quick question for you vets, ...i want to change the foot pegs to something billet or aluminum...any suggestions? thanks, dan

I did that, but went back to the cushy rubber stockers. After a full day on a long trip my feet would otherwise be vibrating for hours.
Congrats on the bike, I saw it in Arkansas last summer and it is a fine example. Bart really did a great job on it.

I agree with Shane. I changed mine as well, and on long rides, the vibes get old.

That said, there were some Buell pegs that were billet, but had a strip of rubber on top. Not as squishy as the stock, less vibes than the all billet. Should be a happy medium. Just haven't bothered yet

They are Harley pegs, so any Harley or aftermarket peg should work.

Loren installed V-rod pegs and they look good,

I run late M2 pegs on mine. Thin rubber, enough for grip...but not the balloon-rubber of the OEM pegs.
