Bubbling is hard it can be repainted but must be done exactly right. Could make a tank cover its been done or do like me and run an S2 tank with cover takes some modifing though!

S1 yes I kinda figured it was going to be a royal Pain in the butt

I found a brand new smaller tank and fender same color as the 1996 I have. lol I not to keen on twins but man the Tank looks awful

I do like the idea of the S2 tank , But will try a S1w tank first

I have an early mounting block. I can send you the pn# in the morning to verify it's what you need, I believe it is from an S1.

I can also forward the info I have on recommended paint process from Buell should you be interested in that.

The swingarm mount block was the same from the S2's up until the Aluminum swingarm started. With the Aluminum swingarm some material was removed from the mount block to add clearance for the Aluminum swingarm.

So basically any swingarm mount block will work with a steel swingarm, while with the Aluminum swingarm only the later mount block will work. Of course, with a little grinding to an early mount block, you can make it work with the Aluminum swingarm.

Verified and then some...

wow thank you Folks
I have the Aluminum swingarm Just need the Mounting block . I found forks I think ...

cases and header will be a pain but I found a S1 motor that was crashed ,it has a mount broken off

The paint process would be great and much appreciated

I just broke down and ordered a Parts catalogue from HD Canada
Double the price of the USA Dealers
I also found out the Us HD dealers Will not Sell me any Buell parts
So that will be a Challenge to get parts at reasonable price
Once again Thank you all for the help
