Al you need for it to be an X1 header is to weld on a bung for the O2 sensor. |

Not true. 1999-02 headers pass under the frame. The older ones go over the frame. A 1996-98 header will not fit a 1999-up chassis. Jeff |

That's true but the header above specifically says 99-02. That's the post I was referring to, I should have been more specific. So, yes, it will fit a 99-02 X1 if you have a bung installed. |
