Hey do the clutch and brake levers swap from other tubers to a M2? I am looking at buying a set of ASV levers but they don't have them on their site for an M@, but they do have them for all of the s models. I didn't know if I would be allright ordering a pair of those for my 02 cyclone.

look at CRG, the X1 brake lever i think is the same as for the 1125. i think they share the same size master cylinder, the clutch one is the same for X1 than for any XB.

Chinese levers are far cheaper and compared to my CRG ones i see basically no difference and have a friend who has the chinese ones and has had no problem at all.

Are the X1 controls the same as an m2?

Do a search,some of the cheapies are not machined properly and can cause the front brake to lock up with out warning for no apparent reason.}

I have C5 (cnc version) ASV levers on all my tubers...they are (IMHO) the best levers I have ever used!

I use a short brake lever and a full length clutch lever.

I buy them through 2wheeltoys - they have the best price anywhere!

You'll be impressed, and glad you spent the money.... I think I paid $200.00 for each set through 2wheeltoyz....... call them, see what they can do. I had to talk them into splitting the set up, I have broken both hands and the split set works better for me...also matches my adapted style..just a few fingers on the brake, yet the whole hand for the clutch...

If memory serves, all tubers from 99 - 02 are the same. The 98 S1's were different. Not sure about the 98 S3

I think my 98 s1W and my 99x1 used the same levers...could be mistaken, but pretty sure they were the same part numbers when ordered...

Levers might be the same but the throttle control was quite different. Switch housings were different as well.

Not sure whether all tubers are the same, but here's some Kawasaki models whose levers fit M2.

Kawasaki clutch lever Part# 46076-1165
Kawasaki brake lever Part# 13236-1185

Here's all the bikes they're used on:
application/vnd.openxmlformats-officedocument.wordprocessingml.document
Buell levers cross ref Kawasaki models.docx (17.7 k)

I got the levers off Fleabay. The cheapos. they have the colored adjusters on them and you can get them in either long or short. I believe they were around $30 shipped lol. i was surprised how nice they actually were. they fit great too. had them on my bike for a year now with zero issues. My buddy liked them so much he ordered a pair for his ducati. same outcome, great fit and finish. just my 2 cents

"Knock-offs" seems an apt description of levers in any case...

Sure. But if you can save ALOT of money on something that you most likely not tell the difference on. Then why not.
