So I am about to put the cylinders back on when I see the metal base gaskets. Do I put a thin layer of three bond on them or let them go dry? These are Harley factory gaskets. No O-rings.

Professionally, I think you should leave them dry.


However my inner self says put 3 bond on them. ;]

I have always installed them dry. No problems with leaking.
